Transparent rules for a seamless journey.
Quick Summary (TL;DR)
1. Pricing: Tolls, Parking & Permit charges are extra.
2. Calculation: Mileage starts/ends at our Garage (Velachery).
3. Forbidden: No smoking or alcohol consumption inside the vehicle.
4. AC: AC will be switched off in hilly areas (Ghat sections) to prevent engine overheating.
1. Booking & Payment
To confirm a booking, an advance payment (20% of estimated fare) is required. The balance amount must be settled directly with the driver or via UPI at the end of the trip.
- We accept Cash, GPay, PhonePe, and Bank Transfers.
- GST invoices must be requested prior to trip completion.
2. Inclusions & Exclusions
Our quoted tariff covers Fuel, Car Rent, and Driver Service. However, the following are excluded:
- Toll Fees: All toll plaza charges (Fastag) are to be paid by the guest.
- Parking: Airport, Railway station, or Temple parking fees.
- Permit Charges: Required for entering other states (e.g., Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Pondicherry).
3. Distance & Time Calculation
Outstation Minimum: A minimum of 250 km per calendar day (00:00 to 23:59) will be charged for outstation trips.
Example: If you travel for 2 days, the minimum billable distance is 500 km, even if actual usage is lower.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
We understand plans change. Our refund structure is designed to be fair to both parties.

5. Passenger Guidelines
To ensure safety and vehicle hygiene, we strictly enforce the following:
- No Smoking/Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol or smoking inside the cab is strictly prohibited. The driver reserves the right to stop the trip if this rule is violated.
- Luggage: Please inform us of excess luggage during booking. Roof carriers are subject to availability.
- AC on Hills: For safety and engine health, AC will be turned off while climbing steep hills (Ghat sections).
6. Liability & Disputes
Shrish Travels is not responsible for any loss of valuables left in the vehicle. Passengers are advised to check their belongings before deboarding.
In case of vehicle breakdown, we will arrange an alternative vehicle as soon as possible, but we are not liable for missed flights or trains due to unavoidable mechanical issues or traffic delays.
